Apparel
When you're in a dressing room trying on clothes, you often look at the overall appearance of it- what color it is, how it fits, does it look good on my body. No doubt, those are important- I mean, why would you buy something that you would hate wearing?

While appearance is important, I have a whole other set of questions that I ask myself. Is it easy to put on? Can I put it on by myself or do I need help? Does it fit my uneven body? Is it comfortable? Can I easily go to the bathroom in this?
If the answer is yes to all of those questions, only then can I start thinking about buying it. I have been known to be a very indecisive shopper, probably because those questions sometimes take a long time to debate and answer in my head.

The three sections of apparel that I have had a hard time finding are bras, pants, and shoes. I swear, those three can take twice as long to find than any other piece of clothing. Here's what I have found:
Bras
As a person who uses one side of their body A LOT more than the other side, the two sides of my body grew differently. For me, one of the big parts that are different side to side are my shoulders- one shoulder is higher than the other and one shoulder slopes downward. Those two things make it really hard to find a comfortable bra and one that doesn't bug me all day.
I only came across True and Co. True Body bras about a year ago. The one I linked here is my favorite. The best way I can describe it is it's like a fancy sports bra that you lift over your head. Instead of a thin strap that can fall off your shoulders they have thick straps. By far the most comfortable bra that I've tried.

Pants

The stretchier the better! That's the best advice I can give. Let's just say, elastic is your friend, buttons and zippers are acquaintances, and clasps are your bullies. The question I always ask myself is, "can I go to the bathroom easily in this?" Yoga pants, leggings, jeggings, whatever you can find that is stretchy is my go-to.
